ASUS Reveals a 256 GB ZenFone 2 Deluxe Edition

Gone are the days where looks were everything and got you places. The same pertains to the smartphone community. The era of the “good looking” phone has been replaced with “functionality”.

And it seems to be working because people are now looking for a devices that can do more in spite of its looks. It’s what’s inside that matters and phone companies are taking that very seriously. But every once in a while a company comes along and shakes the very ground we stand on by dropping a phone that has it all, functionality and great looks. This time, ASUS brings us the ZenFone 2 Deluxe Special Edition which has got everyone talking.

What is it about this smartphone that has been making people desperate to get their hands on one? Well, the specs alone could do it which are some of the best we have seen on any modern device but that is not all. Let’s find out a bit about the ZenFone 2 and see what makes it a Deluxe Special Edition.

Specifications: The display of the ZenFone is a 5.5 inch one as seen on most devices now-a-days. A 2.3GHz Quad-Core processor teamed with a 4GB RAM brings power to the device unlike anything we have seen before. There is a pretty great 13 megapixel camera on the back of the phone and an equally good 5 megapixel camera on the front for brilliant selfies. The ZenFone 2 runs on Android Lollipop 5.0. These specification would seem more than enough to make the Zenfone 2 a deluxe phone in itself but ASUS didn’t stop there.

The biggest feature and reason for all the hype around the latest mobile phone news is that the Zenfone 2 Deluxe packs in an incredible, unbelievable, jaw dropping 256 GB of inbuilt space. Yes, you read right, 256 GB. No other smartphone on the face of this planet has the internal space that is being offered by this device and none will, at least for a while now. The most internal space on smartphones currently is 128 GB and that is offered by a few companies. The major companies like Samsung and Apple seem to be left out of the race when it comes to space as they have shown in their devices. The Note 5 from Samsung does not even have a 128 GB version of the smartphone.

Even the Apple iPhone doesn’t go further than 16 GB. The ZenFone 2 Deluxe is available in Brazil for now and will hopefully make its way to other countries soon enough.

So, that does it for the “functionality” part, now for the good looks. The ASUS ZenFone 2 Deluxe packs a lot into it and it is encompassed in 2 Ergonomic Arc cases. One is a polygonal design that looks like a crystal cut and the other textured case. Both are extensively stylish and add a whole load of class to match its specifications built into it. Delivering on both looks and function, the ASUS ZenFone 2 Deluxe is turning out to be a “must have” for smartphone lovers everywhere (Brazil only for now).
