How to root and Install TWRP Recovery on ZTE Nubia Z9 Max

It’s an easy step to root and install CWM or TWRP recovery on ZTE Nubia Z9 Max. However, ZTE Nubia Z9 Max, as a high end smartphone is still required to be rooted for RAM management, as the device is powered with a 3GB RAM. Installation of custom roms would be made possible and easy once TWRP recovery is already installed on the device, and some other easy task and high customization is being made on the device once you’ve passed the process.

Installation of TWRP Recovery on ZTE Nubia Z9 Max is the first stage of the guide, then I would give you guys a brief procedure on how to root any ZTE Nubia Z9 Max.

How to Install TWRP recovery on ZTE Nubia Z9 Max

Before you begin the rooting process, first download ZTE USB drivers on your computer, then enable USB debugging on your ZTE Nubia Z9 Maxsmartphone, go to settings >> developers option. If developer’s option isn’t visible on your Galaxy device, simply go to about phone under settings and scroll down to build number, then tap build number up to 7 times to make developers option visible.

NB: Also Setup ADB/Fastboot on your computer

1.       First download the TWRP recovery from here.

2.       After that, extract the files from the zipped folder.

3.       Now, from the extracted file, run command prompt under the recovery’s.img.

4.       Run the following commands:

adb reboot bootloader
cd Desktop
fastboot -i 0x19d2 flash recovery twrp_en_nx510j_dianlujitao.img

NB: the above commands performs a specific function, abd bootloader is to boot your device to bootloader mode, Cd desktop is to change directory of command prompt to desktop, while fastboot flash recovery is to flash or install TWRP on your ZTE Nubia Z9 Max smartphone.

That’s it. The TWRP recovery image would be installed on your ZTE Nubia Z9 Max smartphone, and you would see the TWRP recovery touch menu, simply select reboot to reboot your device.

How to Root ZTE Nubia Z9 Max

Now that you’ve successfully installed TWRP Recovery option on your ZTE Nubia Z9 Max smartphone, then you can easily root the smartphone, following the procedures below;

Step 1: Firstly, download SuperSU from here on your computer, and move the downloaded files to the internal storage of your ZTE Nubia Z9 Max device.

Step 2: Now, switch off your device and boot to recovery mode (press and hold Volume Down button + press Power button).

Step 3: After that, go to the recover main menu, then choose install, then select the SuperSU file and install immediately.

Step 4: Once the flashing process is completed, simply reboot your device via the recovery main menu.

I have flash it to the false Version,
My Z9 Max is 2GB Version with NX512J

The Recovery mode is diffcult
