To start with, we already know that Infinix plans to power their next device with Nougat operating system, as the company is always competent on integrating the latest operating system on their new leaks.

The Meaning of the Letter “N” on Android N Finally Announced

We’ve so much anticipated the naming of the most recent android operating system commonly tagged as “Android N”. However, we suggested so many names, and it came to our notice that the expected name “Nutella” was to be the actual name but our suggestion was pointed wrong.


Today (as of the day of publishing this article), Google announced that the latest version of android operating system will go by Android Nougat as the name was selected from the suggestion submitted by individuals. Remember Google said anyone could submit their suggestion on naming as of last month.

Upcoming Infinix X521 will have fingerprint sensor and 13MP Camera

We’ve long anticipated the first Infinix device to feature a fingerprint sensor and now it’s here. The Infinix X521 device is an upcoming Infinix device that was first spotted on Nairaland with Fingerprint sensor, sleek design and full metal body.

Xiaomi Mi Max is finally outed for International Pre-Order

Personally, I’ve been anticipating the Xiaomi Mi Max Phablet and the device is now up for international pre-order meaning, you can now order the device anywhere around the world from a popular online retail popularly known as Gearbest.


I do purchase most of my gadgets from Gearbest and I’ve never experienced any difficulty with them, seems like it’s time for me to lay my hand on that Xiaomi Mi Max phablet as it features lot of sophisticated components.

Galaxy Note 6 Set for August Launch in the United States

Are you ready to experience Galaxy Note 6 Launch? Successor to the Galaxy Note 5 that was unveiled the previous year with sophisticated specifications. By now, I know that most of you would be having a great experience with the Note 5.


According to our reliable source @evleaks, it was revealed that the Samsung Galaxy Note 6 is scheduled for August 15th launch. However, the launch event would take place in the United States, no word on venue and time frame yet.

Update Infinix Hot 2 X510 to recent Android 6.0 Marshmallow with bug fixes and Ram booster

Finally, Infinix mobility released another recent version of Marshmallow to the Hot 2 X510 users. This update comes with bug fixes and ram booster unlike the previous version that hangs the device with loads of bug issues to be fixed.


Sometime last year, I published an article on how to upgrade Infinix Hot 2 to Android 6.0 Marshmallow, and those who succeeded in upgrading their device faced lot of bug issues. However, the previous update has been worked on and bugs fixed with ram booster included which brings about this recent version. Therefore, having a ram booster in this recent version is somewhat good news, and with this, you won’t be facing lag issues.

Samsung Galaxy S5 Marshmallow Update Now Available

The long anticipated marshmallow update for the Samsung’s flagship is here. The Galaxy S5, is now getting the Android marshmallow update. However, this update is currently rolling out for Galaxy S5 variant with model number SM-G900L which is said to operate on South Korean carrier.


The Android 6.0.1 marshmallow update brings about better optimization on battery, ram management section, stability, speed improvement and several bug fixes. The update will soon be available before the end of next month for all variant Galaxy S5. Users can check if the update has been pushed on their device through settings menu.

Infinix Note 2 finally receives Android 6.0 Marshmallow update

Good news to all Infinix Note 2 users, update to Android 6.0 Marshmallow has finally rolled out. However, this update brings about upgrade to XUI 1.N.3.0, XACCOUNT registration added to startup guide, record toggle on notification bar and upgraded version of screen recorder.


Although this update hasn’t been made available on all Infinix Note 2 devices via OTA, but you can choose to flash the official ROM into your smartphone via TF card version or main flash version. We also managed to gather the full changelog of this update.

Document sharing features now integrated on Whatsapp

As know, whatsapp messenger is the best instant messaging platform with billions of active users across different platforms. This messenger was released January 2010 and within few years it has achieved lots more than any other social messaging application you can ever think of.

Infinix Zero 3 now Available and sold for N46,000

The long anticipated Infinix Zero 3 that was recently launched at Silverbird cinema is now available in local smartphone market and sold for N46,000. However, purchase can be made from 3C HUB: Digital square,20 Awolowo way, computer village, Ikeja, Lagos.


Specs-wise, the Infinix Zero 3 spots a 5.5-inch HD screen display with 4K resolution, 400ppi 1080P and a Corning Glass 3 for protection. Huawei P9 Set for March 2016 Launch with High-Specs components

The Huawei P9 flagship is finally announced and set for March 2016 launch with high specifications, and event might take place in home country China. However, the smartphone full specifications isn’t officially announced, but we managed to get some technical specifications of the device.


It’s expected that the Huawei P9 would be more grounded specs-wise compared to its predecessor, “Huawei P8” as seen in the image above, and the time frame for the launch is close to perfect because the company recently launched a new flagship codenamed “Huawei Mate 8”, we already detailed the full specs and price of the Huawei Mate 8.

With the familiarized words “TheNextHero” and “Zero2Hero” which infinix used to market their previous campaign on “Infinix Zero 2”, we were able to conclude that Infinix is trying to unveil the next series of the Infinix Zero family, that is, “HERO” should be taking us to Infinix Zero series, and 3LOGY simply means something that have three parts and can be seen as one. So, am pretty sure that Infinix Mobility is referring to the Infinix Zero 3.

Samsung Galaxy A5 [2016] Technical Specifications Certified by TENNA

Few days back, TENAA certified the Galaxy A7 (2016) gen with model number SM-A7100, and some upgraded specs was spotted on the device compared to its previous gen. Now, the Galaxy A5 (2016) gen is certified by TENNA with model number SM-A5100.

According to TENNA listing, there is an upgrade in this next gen of Galaxy A5. However, the smartphone features a 5.2inches OLED display (0.2 inch upgrade) with 1920 × 1080 pixel resolution, 13MP rear camera and a 5MP front shooter.
