HTC Set to Launch an Android 6.0 Marshmallow Smartphone from the Box

HTC is working towards unveiling an Android smartphone running on 6.0 Marshmallow from the box, and according to the information leaked; the smartphone would be unveiled on 20th October, which its announcement takes place online.


The smartphone to be launched, HTC One A9, is the smartphone to run the Android 6.0 Marshmallow from the box, and this smartphone is coupled with mid-range hardware and has a metal body which would be available in six colors and an iPhone-like design.

List to HTC Smartphones Confirmed to receive Android 6.0 Marshmallow

HTC OEM finally unveils some list of HTC smartphones that would receive an update to Android 6.0 Marshmallow. However, new firmware is set to roll out to HTC One M9 and HTC One M8 by the Taiwanese manufacturer which would begin before the year comes to an end.


Some HTC smartphone being listed to receive the update in addition to the HTC One M8 and HTC one M9 includes, One M9+, One E9+, One E9, One ME, One E8, One M8 Eye, HTC Butterfly 3 and some other mid-range HTC smartphones  such as HTC Desire 826, HTC Desire 820, and HTC Desire 816.

Orbra Eve 2 Confirmed to Support OTA Updates

Recently, Orbra announced their latest flagship codenamed “Orbra Eve 2”. However, this high-ends smartphone will be set for launch on 1st October this year.


According to TechView Nigeria, it is confirmed that Orbra Eve 2 would support the OTA updates, that is, once Android 6.0 Marshmallow update is being pushed to most OTA supported android smartphones, the Orbra Eve 2 would definitely follow the list.

Orbra to unveil Eve 2 with 4G LTE, 3GB RAM and MediaTek's MTK6753

To start with, Orbra is a phone manufacturing company in Nigeria and they're to launch their first high ends smartphone dubbed “ORBRA EVE 2” on 1st October (Nigerians Independence day).

Specs-wise the Orbra Eve 2 smartphone would run on Android 5.1 Lollipop from the box and powered by a 2.0GHz Octa-core CPU, MediaTek MTK6753 chipset coupled with a 3GB RAM component and 16GB internal storage.

LG G5 to feature 20MP 1/2'' Sony sensor and Snapdragon 820

Few months back, the predecessor of the LG G5 smartphone (LG G4), was praised for its impressive camera features and this proves that the hyped smartphone was for a good reason. However, an insider recently leaked that the LG G5 would show-off with a 20MP Sony sensor with a half-inch diagonal, which is one of the largest around.


The source also stated that the LG G5 will be powered by a Snapdragon 820, and this is Qualcomm’s most powerful SoC.

Coolpad Rogue – a $50 Phone with Android Lollipop and 4G LTE Support

Coolpad finally unveils their latest flagship dubbed “Rougue”. However, the smartphone runs on Android lollipop from the box, 4G LTE support (2, 4, 12, AWS3 bands) and 32GB built-in storage memory.


Specs-wise, the smartphone is powered by a dual-core 1.1GHz Snapdragon processor, 1GB of RAM, and an expandable memory up to 32GB. The smartphone also sports a 4.0-inch WVGA display, 2MP rear unit and a VGA front snapper.

Prices of Lumia 950 and 950 XL Finally Leaked

Just today, a Spanish retailer revealed the prices of the upcoming Microsoft’s windows 10 devices codenamed “Lumia 950” and “Lumia 950 XL”.

According to the price listing, the dual-SIM variants of the Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL is tagged at prices €659 ($738) and €749 ($838), respectively. This also compares the price tag range of the iPhone 6s (€740-€750) that is in some European countries, though its Spanish price is yet to be announced.

Huawei Nexus P6 – First Nexus Device to feature 128GB Built-in Storage

Huawei is allegedly working on a new flagship codenamed “Huawei Nexus P6”. According to Android Police Sources, the Huawei Nexus devices that were leaked last week would be available in 32GB, 64GB and 128GB variants.

We also managed to collect some other information, revealing that the Huawei Nexus 6P which would come in the 32GB, 64GB and 128GB variants will have a $50-$100 price tag differences and due to the huge built-in memory capacity, Google next flagship might not come with memory card slots.

Motorola unveils the Moto X Play in India

Few weeks back, Motorola launched the Moto X Play smartphone in UK and Grermany, and fans there are already enjoying the smartphone. We even managed to leak the TWRP intsallation and rooting procedures for the smartphone.


Recently, Motorola launched Moto X Play smartphone in India, and the smartphone is priced at INR 18,499 which is about $278 for the 16GB model, and  INR 19,999 ($301) for the 32GB model.

Huawei to unveil Honor 4C Plus Next Week

Huawei is set to launch the upgraded version of Honor 4C codenamed “Honor 4C Plus”. However, the Smartphone will double the internal storage memory of Honor 4C, which would result to 16GB internal storage.



Outside the memory, there is no revelation if the specs remain similar with that of the Honor 4C. In other words, specs-wise, the Huawei Honor 4C Plus will feature a 5.0 inch display with 720 x 1280 pixels resolution, 13MP rear camera and an 8MP front shooter.

Samsung Galaxy J2 finally Unveiled in India – Specs & Price

Samsung Galaxy J2 finally launched in India, and the price of the mid-range smartphone is priced at 8490 INR, which is about $130.


The new Galaxy J2 features a 4.7-inch Super AMOLED display (960 x 540 pixel resolutions), 5MP rear camera featuring Geo-tagging, touch focus and face detection. 2MP front camera also included, and packs a 2,000mAh battery.

 It was also revealed by @upleaks, that the price of the smartphone is tagged at 4,000 CNY, which turns out to be around $628.

HTC Desire 728 Now Available in China – Specs & Price

HTC finally unveiled their Desire 728 phablet in china, and the handset is tagged at an affordable price, and also comes in two color schemes (white and gold, or black and gray). However, the smartphone comes with dual-SIM slot, featuring cellular network and 4G LTE capability.



The HTC Desire 728 features a 5.5” 720p IPS LCD display, 13MP rear camera, 5MP front snapper and BoomSound stereo speakers. The smartphone also runs on android 5.1.1 lollipop operating system from the box with HTC China Sense on top and powered by a 64-bit MediaTek 728 chipset, 1.3GHz octa-core CPU coupled with 2GB of RAM and a 16GB internal storage memory.

Innjoo to Launch Fire Plus today – Specs Leaked

Finally, the long awaited Innjoo Fire Plus is set for launch today, and most of its specification is already leaked.

Browsing through Jumia store this morning, I was able to gather the important components which the Innjoo Fire Plus features but no price tag updated for the smartphone yet.


The Innjoo Fire Plus features a 5.5-inch 720P stunning display with IPS technology, 267PPI, 800:1 contrast, 460cd/m², GFF full lamination, and clear visual effect even under strong outdoor lighting conditions. Lenovo PHAB Plus Officially Announced in China – Specs & Price

Recently, Lenovo announced the release of a 6.8-Inche PHAB Plus in China, which is more of a tablet than a phablet smartphone. However, the device is already launched on China Unicom, China Telecom and China mobile for CNY 2,599, which is about $407.


The Lenovo PHAB Plus smartphone features a 6.8-inch 1920x1080 display, 13MP rear camera with dual LED flash support, 5MP selfie snapper, dual SIM support and a cellular network with 4G LTE Capability.

Verizon Variants of HTC Desire 626 is Now Available for $192

Finally, Verizon variants of HTC Desire 626 is now available, and sales starts today being the 29th of Aug 2015. The carrier stated their price tag of the smartphone to be $192, and today, the desire 626 joins the HTC Desire 526 in Verizon roaster.


Installation plan of the smartphone is also available, that is, you can pay $8 per month for 24months, and there is only one color being offered, which is the white color with gold accents.
