How to Install CyanogenMod 13 CM13 (Nightly) on Moto G [1st/2nd/3rd] Gen

Currently (as of the time of posting), the three Generation Moto G is running on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop operating system, and still awaits the Android 6.0 Marshmallow. However, CyanogenMod Team ported CM13 for Moto G 1st, 2nd and 3rd Gen, and this ROM is based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow.



Cyanogenmod, standing as one of the best custom roms for android devices has now outed the official version of CM13 ROM and the ROM is based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with all expected features and lets you customize launcher (which isn’t possible on stock android), use pie control, install themes and lots more.

To start with, it’s best you installed TWRP recovery on Moto G 2014, in other to flash custom roms through recovery mode and other flash-able files.


Before you get started, make sure that you’ve enabled USB debugging on your Moto G 2014 device. To enable, simply go to settings, developers option and enable from there. Motorola unveils the Moto X Play in India

Moto X Play Now Available for Sales in UK and Germany

Ending last month, Motorola unveiled another mid-range smartphone codenamed “Moto X Play” and the smartphone comes with huge battery that is even last better than the known Galaxy S6 Edge smartphone.

How to Install Android 5.1 Lollipop on Dual SIM Moto G 2013 (XT1032) via Euphoria OS

Euphoria OS is another stunning androids custom rom that comes with great stability, customization and improved features, compared to other custom roms.

Android 5.1 lollipop update is now available for Dual SIM Moto G 2013 (XT1032) users via Euphoria OS custom rom.

Based on Cyanogen, Euphoria OS custom rom is only supported on Oneplus one and Nexus devices, but in this guide, I would brief you on how you can manually update your android OS to v5.1 lollipop via Euphoria OS.


Note: Do not try to install this rom on any other variant except for Dual SIM Moto G 2013 (XT1032), and make sure you have the latest TWRP recovery installed on your device. The ROM is quite stable and pre-rooted.

Warning: Installation of Custom ROM on your android device voids its warranty, so following the instruction is at your own risk. The guide is strictly advised for pros or technically talented users to give a try.

NB: Also try to back up your files before you proceed to the below guide to avoid loss of data.

How to Install Android 5.1 Lollipop OTA Firmware Update on Moto X 2014 (XT1092)

Android 5.1 Lollipop update is now available for 2nd Gen Moto X 2014 (XT1092). This update brings lot of improvements, better features, easy control, better interface, enhanced device protection, OEM unlock option under Developer Options and lots of bug fixes.

Previously, I published a guide on how to install CM12.1 Android 5.1 lollipop on Moto X 2013, Today’s stroll, I would brief you guys on how to manually install the update on your Moto X 2014 (XT1092).



Before you proceed, go to Settings >> About phone and below the system version check for the region. If the region is “reteu”, then you can proceed. This guide works for Non-rooted Moto X 2014 device only.
