How to Root Galaxy Note 4 [All Models] on Stock Android 5.1.1 Lollipop

Stock Android 5.1.1 Lollipop is finally outed for all models of Samsung Galaxy Note 4, which includes the Galaxy Note 4 SM-N910H, SM-N910F and SM-N910U. However, these models of Galaxy Note 4 are coupled with a 3GB RAM component, and rooting it helps improve RAM management.


In addition, there are other benefits of rooting like tweaking dark corners of your smartphone, running special purpose apps, installation of custom roms and many more.

To root your Galaxy Note 4 smartphone, all you need is your Galaxy Note 4 USB drivers for PC (Download here), and also enable USB debugging on your Galaxy Note 4 device. To enable, simply go to settings >> developers option and enable USB debugging. If developer’s option isn’t visible on your device, you can make that visible by going to about device under settings menu, then scroll down to build number and tap 7times till you get a message that notifies “You’re now a developer”.

How to Root Galaxy J5 [All Model] on Stock Android 5.1.1 Lollipop

Step 1: Firstly, download CF-Autoroot Zip from the above link provided, and unzip the file, then move to the desktop screen of your computer for easy access.

Step 2: After that, Boot your Galaxy Note 4 into Download Mode. To perform the operation, you have to power off your device and then press, Volume Down + Power + Home. Press Volume Up now to continue to Download Mode.

Step 3: Once your device is in download mode, simply connect the phone to your PC via the use of USB cable and the ODIN application would notify an added message. You should see a blue box on the ODIN screen if all drivers are installed properly, if not, re-install and reboot PC.

Step 4: After that, choose “PDA” or “AP” in Odin and select the CF-autoroot file in which you have downloaded, the .tar extension. Also endeavor that the re-partition is not ticked in the odin.


Step 5: Finally, click on the start button, and the process would begin immediately. Once the process is completed, you would notice the RESET or PASS message on the ODIN screen. Then your device would boot into recovery mode, and then reboot your device. Go to recovery and wipe cache and data in case you get stuck at bootloop.
