The installation of Stock ROMS on Gionee smartphone is very helpful if you wish to fix your android smartphone to default, or you wish to downgrade from an already upgraded custom rom. However, it also helps in the unbricking of any bricked Gionee smartphone.
In this guide, I would brief you on how to install Stock roms on all models of Gionee android, providing you with the download links of each Gionee model’s stock rom and also show you two great methods in which you can use to install these ROMS.
Download Links for All Gionee Stock Firmware ROMS
NB: To proceed, it’s advisable you install CWM or TWRP on your Gionee smartphone.
Step 1: Enable USB debugging on Gionee, simply go to settings >> Developers option.
Step 2: After that, download the Gionee stock rom, and move the downloaded files to the internal storage of your Gionee device.
Step 3: Now, switch off your device and boot to recovery mode (press and hold Volume Down button + press Power button).
Step 4: Once you get to the recovery mode, simply perform a full system wipe (Wipe Data/Factory Reset, Wipe Cache Partition and then Wipe Dalvik Cache/ART cache from advanced section).
Step 5: After that, go to the recover main menu, then choose install ZIP from SD Card, then select the stock rom Zip file and install immediately.
Step 6: Once the installation process is completed, simply go back main recovery menu and tap on Reboot system, and your device would be rebooted.
Once the process is completed, your Gionee device would be recovered to its default mode.
Requirements:
Step 2: After that, download Gionee USB driver.
Step 3: Now, power off your device, and remove the battery of the device if uses a removable battery.
Step 4: Next, download the SP Flash tool, and extract the files to your computer. You should get the following files as seen below, after extraction.
Step 5: From the extracted files, open Flash_tool.exe
Step 6: Once the flash tool is launched, then click on the download/upgrade tab and click on scatter loading button
Step 7: Now, locate the scatter file, which is in the Stock rom folder you extracted in step 1.
Step 8: After that, click download to begin flashing process.
Step 9: Immediately, connect your device (without battery if it’s removable) to your computer via USB cable, and press Volume Down or Up key, so it would be detected easily by your computer.
Step 10: The Flashing process would be in progress, and a Green button would appear once the process is completed.
That’s it. You can now disconnect your Gionee device from your computer and boot your device, then you would find your bricked Gionee device restored to default. If you encounter any difficulty, feel free to let me know via comment section.

Method 1- How to Install Stock ROM (Without computer)
