The app is can be used to perform useful task from your device to your PC (Personal computer) like, playing music from your mobile device on your computer, SMS texting from your mobile device on your computer, easy access of files from your xiaomi on your computer, easy control of your device from your computer and many more features.
Apart from taking charge of your xiaomi device from PC, the MI PC suite also has some other technical features like, flashing of fastboot ROM on your Xiaomi device whenever it gets bricked.
In this guide, I would brief you guys on how to easily flash fastboot ROM on your bricked Xiaomi device using the MI PC Suite.
- Next, switch off your Xiaomi phone, and boot to fastboot mode (Press and hold the Volume– key and the Power button together), and connect your device to your PC via usb cable. Also, your device screen should look like this image below;
- Now, open the MI PC suite and your xiaomi device would be connected to the app screen, notifying a connection message. You’ll also see a pop-up displaying the fastboot ROM file (Stable & Beta) then select stable and download the fastboot files. Once you’ve downloaded it, flash them on your bricked Xiaomi device.
- In case the Fastboot ROM file didn’t pop-up the ROM files, simply go to Update option and select Flash, from the MI PC Suite main screen, just as seen in the screenshot below.
- Once you’ve selected flash, then option to flash fastboot ROM files would be displayed, then select Stable build and wait few minutes for the flashing process to complete.
